“DIED -- Mrs. Maria Campbell, wife of Charles Campbell, died in this city at the residence of her

mother Mrs. Louisa Hyland, at an early hour Wednesday morning, July 15, 1903, aged 35 years and 8

days. She leaves a husband and four children. Mrs. Campbell had been sick for months and while her

death was not unexpected it was nevertheless a severe blow to the family. She was a member of the

Degree of Honor of Eugene, and carried a policy of $1,000. Services were held in the Christian Church

Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev. Lobdell. The Degree of Honor of this place attended the service

in a body. The remains were interred in Odd Fellows cemetery. “ [The Times, Junction City, Lane
