Weekly Newsletter for the Anglican church community 3 January 2020 Notices… Are our churches ‘sight loss friendly’? I’ve been sent some literature from the Torch Trust that encourages all churches to be sight loss friendly. Is there anyone out there who would like to follow this up and ensure all our churches are such? Please contact Adrian if interested. Wollaston Health & Wellbeing Group - next meeting is Thursday 16th January, 2 - 4pm at St. Mary’s, Wollaston. Subject - ‘Saving the Planet’ with speaker Dr. Nigel Scott. All welcome. St. Mary’s, Wollaston Refreshments Rota - If you would like to join the team providing goodies after the service please let me know. It works out about once every 6 weeks I can let you have all the details. I would like to thank Jean Haliday & Jenny Denny for their many years on the team. Many thanks Linda St. Mary’s, Bozeat requires a new Verger following Pat Taylor standing down after many years of faithful service. Many thanks Pat for doing this role over the years! The Verger needs to be available for occasional funerals during the week and on occasional Saturdays for weddings. It is a paid role though don’t expect to be holidaying in the Bahamas because of it. The person needs to be reliable, friendly and able to work a CD player! Please speak to Dawn or Adrian if interested. FILM NIGHT

Friday 31st January at 7.30pm at St Marys Church, Wollaston

Free Admission Free Refreshments but donations greatly appreciated.

Tea, coffee and biscuits available from 7.00pm before the film.

A one day conference to encourage and equip Christian Women.  Our guest speaker is Rachel Gardner, director of Youthscape, and President of the Girls’ Brigade – England and Wales, Rachel is also on the board of the adoption and fostering charity “Home for Good”

In addition to our main sessions together worshipping God and hearing from Rachel, guests can choose from seminar options including gospel choir, get creative, spend time in the prayer and reflection spaces, do some shopping at our retail stalls, or simply spend time with friends or relax with a hot drink!
