BASEBALL ACADEMY

With our improved facility, we now offer an academy that allows baseball players in our region to improve their skills year-round in an environment that replicates true playing situations.

The Academy offers three separate skills training sessions: hitting, pitching and defensive/fielding. Each session will last for six weeks. Each skill session is $100. Athletes can participate in one or all three of the skills. Class size is limited.

You can take the skills you learn at the Academy with you wherever you go, no matter your personal goals. You will finish strong on the diamond and perform at your maximum ability.

THE COMPLETE PLAYERThe Ben Berg Baseball Academy is a multifaceted training program for athletes of all ages and abilities. The Academy focuses on three separate skill components: hitting, fielding and pitching. Athletes can customize their training by choosing which skills they want to focus on the most.

Because of Ben’s donation and POWER’s recent expansion and relocation, our baseball program is expanding. With over 10,000 square feet of field turf, two drop-down batting cages, portable pitching mounds and multiple drop-down nets, we can now offer a baseball-specific academy that provides training for each component of the game.

OUR COACHESOur staff is made up of local high school and college coaches with a passion for developing quality baseball within our community. Our goal is to provide coaching instruction that is consistent with the fundamentals used at the local high school and collegiate levels.

MAXIMIZE PERFORMANCETHE BEN BERG STORYAt just 18 years old, Ben Berg impacted everyone he met with his down-to-earth personality and dedicated work ethic. He was responsible, wise beyond his years and above all, caring and generous toward others.

Ben trained at POWER throughout high school and was very involved with the baseball academy. He worked tirelessly to improve his athletic ability and baseball skills. He was rewarded for that hard work with a scholarship to play college baseball at Bismarck State College. Tragically, Ben passed away in a hunting accident in October 2016 and he never had the chance to begin his college career. In his honor, his parents and family donated his college savings to fund the Ben Berg Baseball Academy.

Our mission to Ben and our athletes is to provide the best facilities, training and resources, giving baseball players of all ages the opportunity to fulfill their full athletic potential.
