BELMONT UNIVERSITY GROUP FITNESS FALL 2015 MONDAY TUESDAY WEDNESDAY THURSDAY FRIDAY Spin/Spin & Trim A great cardio workout on indoor bikes that will burn calories while also building your leg muscles. Participants are required to sign up beforehand and encouraged to bring water as this will be the ride of your life! Barre A class that uses the ballet barre to tone muscle groups with small and quick move- ments. It will leave participants feeling empowered at the end of the workout. Hip Hop Dance A cardio dance workout that tones and tightens your muscles to high-energy, “club style” music. Learn the latest dance crazes as you burn calories. Iron Body A class that focuses on functional training, range of motion, & flexibility. You will be performing athletic specific drills while developing strength, agility, and stamina. Body Blast Body Blast will kick your entire body into action by toning muscle and burning fat throughout a variety of challenging, fun circuts. Yoga/Sunrise Yoga Increases participants’ spiritual, emo- tional and physical health by incorpo- rating exercises that tone muscles, increase flexibility and focus on breath- ing to realx the mind. Pilates An exercise technique that focuses on strengthening your core muscles (back & abs) with challenging moves, increas- ing your strength, performance enhancement, and added mobility. Cardio Kickboxing A calorie-burning workout, combining cardio, boxing and martial arts. This class works to improve strength, aerobic fitness, speed, flexibility, coordination and balance. Zumba/Cardio Dance A high energy, heart pumping dance-in- spired workout, featuring simple and fun routines that help tone your body and get your heart rate up. Bootcamp An interval class that mixes body weight exercises with cardio and strength training. These bootcamps are designed in a way to be different all the time, and push our participants harder than they would push themselves. PiYo PiYo combines the muscle-sculpting, core-firming benefits of Pilates with the strength and flexibility advantages of yoga. We crank up the speed to deliver a true fat-burning, low-impact workout that leaves your body looking long, lean, and incredibly defined.
