Madesimo is a small resort in the Italian region of Lombardy, perched on the border with Switzerland.A favourite with Italian visitors, Madesimo is a quiet and typically charming resort which enjoys a reputation for reasonably-priced accommodation and a relaxed après ski.The village has the added advantage of high altitude 1500mt – enjoying snow falls from early November through to late spring.The majority of the skiing is best suited to novice, intermediate and recreational skiers, though there are black runs and off-piste opportunities for the more adventurous.During the week, skiers and boarders can take advantage of uncrowded slopes and queue-free lifts. At weekends the atmosphere gets livelier as Italians make the most of the excellent ski terrain.Good snow, reasonable prices, a wide range of restaurants, pizzerias and bars make Madesimo an ideal short-break destination for anyone seeking a relaxing winter break.

Madesimo village stands at 1500m with a relaxed atmosphere with friendly locals, offering a warm welcome. The pedestrianisedcentre has a mix of wine bars,coffeeshops,pizzerias and a few high class shops,banks and a chemist.
