PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING

Students choose their own topic of interest to work on throughout the 5 week period

Students with the same or similar topics are encouraged to work together, preferably on their individual projects

Instructors introduce a new technology and guide students in how that technology can be used to help with their problem

Students create a thematic portfolio of their projects to share with their teachers, parents, and friends
