Belgium (la Belgique) is a small country with a population of 10 million located northeast of France. Belgium’s capital is Brussels (Bruxelles). Brussels is also the government center of the European Union (EU). Belgium’s government is a monarchy with a king as the head of state. The Belgian currency is the Euro.
