Regeneration occurs in an instant, we are glorified in the twinkling of an eye but,TRANSFORMATION is a life long….process

HOW – 1. By the Dispensing of the Divine Life (Gk. ZOE)
“I have come that they may have life [zoe] and have it abundantly – John 10:10
“may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete” – 1 Thess. 5:17
“Now He who has wrought us for this very thing is God – 2 Cor. 5:5

2. By Partaking of Christ and Absorbing His Riches
EATING“He who eats me shall live because of Me…It is the Spirit who gives life…the words I have
spoken to you are spirit and are life.” – John 6
DRINKING“you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water” – John 4
“were all given to drink one Spirit” – 1 Cor. 12
Assimilating Him as food and drink produces the expression of ChristBeing transformed to be like Him ≠ self-improvement)

3. By Beholding His Face
We turn our
heart
Veil is taken away
We behold His face
We reflect
His glory
That’s trans-
formation
Turning our hearts to behold His face transforms us.
Take time to behold Him!
7
We have this treasure in earthen vessels – 2 Cor. 4:7
treasure refers to:“the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ”
in previous verse
In the whole universe there is nothing so precious as to behold His face which is His person

4. By the Work of the Holy Spirit
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His
purpose.Rom. 8:28
• “His purpose” is that we be conformed to the image of His Son
• The Spirit arranges our outward environment for the breaking down of the old nature and re-constituting with the new nature.
• Difficult environments forces us to depend on the Lord and gain Him for our transformation.

5. By Being “Metabolically” Purified
Moab has been at ease from his youth; And he is settled on his lees
And has not been emptied from vessel to vesselNor has he gone into exile
Therefore his taste remains in himAnd his scent is not changed.
Jer. 48:11
If a believer is always at ease, he will not be transformed. As we are metabolically purified our natural taste and scent are changed to have His taste and scent.
10
Our God-arranged environment
Inadequacy or failures of the natural man
The light of the Lord’s presence
Work together for our transformation
“though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day.” - 2 Cor. 4:16
11
6. By Denying the Self and Living by Him in the Body
As we deny our natural person and take the Lord in our spirit as our person, the faculties of our soul are uplifted and transformed with the Lord as our life.
“be strengthened with power through His Spirit into the inner
man”Eph. 3:16
“let him deny himself and take up his cross
and follow Me”
Matt. 16:24
“be transformed by the renewing of the
mind”
Rom 12:2
“exercise yourself unto
godliness”
1 Tim 12:7

IN CONCLUSIONBy the transformation process
we are prepared to be His bride, the holy city New Jerusalem
which hasthe appearance of God,
the glory of God,and the expression of God
