Our Mass Intentions for this Week
YEAR OF MERCY CORNER
Heavenly Loving Father, giver of life and gifts, look kindly on your Church, and so open the minds of your people, especially the Church leaders and guide those who will choose the new Archbishop for the Archdiocese of Regina, that, we may receive a faithful pastor, who will care for your people and provide for our ministries. We ask this through Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen.

Parish nearest to You)
HOLY CROSS SCHEDULE:
9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. - Adoration and Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. - Reconciliation is available. 3:00 p.m. - Common Prayer, Benediction and Closing Prayer 5:30 p.m. - Poor Man Supper 6:45 p.m. - Stations of the Cross 7:15 p.m. - Mass OUR PARISH LENTEN RECONCILIATION IS ON MONDAY, MARCH 21, 2016 AT 7:00 PM.
As we continue our journey through this Year of Mercy, perhaps we could take some time this month to consider how we might live out this corporal work of mercy:
Visit the Sick
spend quality time with those who are sick or homebound;
take the time to call, send a card or an e-mail to someone who is sick;
volunteer to drive patients to medical appoint-ments and treatment facilities;
volunteer at a hospital; assist those who are full-time caregivers for family
members; cook and delivers meals to the sick and homebound
3rd Week in Lent: Work of Mercy focus: “I was a stranger and you welcomed me.” Unfortunately, many people in Canada and all around the world do not have a place to live. Providing a home also means giving them a place to belong. For example, this could mean visiting with someone who is lonely, or sitting by someone alone at lunch. Consider making a donation equal to something you might give to someone who is moving to a new home or country, or a donation equal to a gift you might give to a new baby.
