Message from the Principal
Welcome back after the holidays. I hope everyone had a
fantastic break and I wish everyone a very happy 2018. We
have certainly had a very busy start to the term. On Monday
the circus came to Miss Watson’s English group as they
started a new text. Penguins, Owls and Rabbits kicked off
their ‘Fire, Fire’ theme with a campfire, roasting their own
marshmallows. Tigers, Elephants and Pandas had a superb
start to their Egyptian topic mummifying dolls, building
pyramids, designing necklaces and reading hieroglyphs.
EYFS have been very busy starting their topic Shiver and
Shake with some super independent learning. Leopards
and Jaguars new topic “Knights and the Crusades” has got
them very excited already.
This week the teachers in school have been busy
establishing Class Blogs, where the children can publish
and extend their learning, more information to follow.
Rev. Fiona Kouble came to school this week to help us
think about and celebrate the New Year in our assembly.
Such a great start and lots more exciting things planned
for this term!
Mrs K Godfrey
Thank you for your continued support
