Before the flood is not just a documentary where Leonardo Dicaprio, but rather an appeal and realism of the environment. We have all heard the term of "global heating", and that's what it's about in this documentary.

This shows how the population of the whole world needs to change in relation to the environment and fossil fuels, and that currently many fossil fuels are used to use a simple equipment/object.

The documentary presents some problems experienced at present and in the future as the thaw, deforestation, global warming (fossil fuels, the production of palm oil, industries, all produce carbon dioxide and methane would pollute the atmosphere).

Recalled that Dodo (bird more abound the Earth), Tasmanian Tiger, quaga and moa were some of the animals that this currently extinct.

Leonardo Dicaprio visited many parts of the world, in Canada, China (the country over pollutes), India, Brazil (Amazonia), Denmark, Paris, Washington, New York City, and etc.
