Bamboo linens provide the softest and most comfortable sleep experience which further enhances your guests’ enjoyment of their stay.

The round, smooth fibers are woven into a tight twill which is luxuriously smooth to the touch, gets softer with each wash, and is hypoallergenic.

Rayon from bamboo is a thermal regulating fabric which adjusts to the sleeper’s temperature; either releasing heat or retaining warmth dependent on the guests’ condition.

Housekeeping and guests will appreciate that bamboo is a bacteria and mildew resistant fabric so wet towels left piled on the floor will not adopt unpleasant odors or stains and sheets will stay fresher longer.

Bamboo Fiber Production Process  Bamboo is the fastest-growing woody plant in the world, capable of growing up to

3’ per day. The bamboo that is harvested for BedVoyage linens is sustainably farm grown and certified organic.

The process that is used to produce the Rayon from Bamboo is called the viscose process. This involves a solvent in a closed-loop system where the bamboo

cellulose is dissolved into a viscose solution and then forced through a spinneret which makes fine, smooth strands which are then woven into a fabric with a

uniquely soft and luxurious hand. Even though the bamboo is put through this “regeneration” process, the EPA notes that “the product is essentially the same

chemical as the raw material”.

BedVoyage bamboo linens are made from 100% certified organically grown bamboo. We have chosen to use the highest quality bamboo, a high thread

count, and we do not blend it with any other fiber or use any chemical treatments. Our linens are not coated with formaldehyde (commonly used for wrinkle resistance on cotton) and they are Oeko-Tex certified to be free from

harmful substances. 

We are required by the FTC to label our products as Bamboo Viscose or Bamboo Rayon so that the consumer is aware of the process of how bamboo fabric is

created.
