FAQs

Why BTS control not working?BTS relies on Bluetooth connection to control DM+ from your phone. After BTS 3.0, Android will auto prompt for BT connection, for iOS, you need manually connect to Bluetooth. BTS may not be compatible with some smart phones.

Why there is a haptic sound when I press BTS buttons?BTS uses MODEM-like sound command to control DM+. So, you will hear the command sound. You can lower the haptic sound by lower the DM+ volume by Remote or even mute it.

Why BTS buttons sometime not responding?Again, due to the MODEM-like one way communication, there is a slight chance that DM+ may not receive the command correctly. Just like voice recognition, it’s not 100% working, please just try again For Wake and Sleep setting, make sure you see haptic response from DM+ (like slow Sunrise/Sunset) to know device is correctly set, otherwise “On” again.

FAQs

Why Sleep mode start with so bright blue light?Instead of lying on the bed, then turn the Sleep mode on, the right way is to turn the Sleep lighting early on, so your body will have time to generate necessary melatonin hormone to help you fall asleep. When you walk into the bedroom, turn the DM+ Sunset mode on without turning your bedroom normal light. Brushing your teeth and wearing your sleeping clothes, while Sunset starts with bright blue, so you still can see things clearly. It is dimming gradually. When you are finally lying on bed, the Sunset light is turning darker orange/red and lower music. Your body melatonin has built up and feel sleepy. You will fall asleep naturally.

Can I set Natural Wake for a short lunch nap?

Yes. The new BTS3.1 will auto-scale your Sunrise period. Say, you finish lunch at 12:30 and want to take nap from 12:30 to 1:00. You set DM+ with BTS to wake at 1:00PM. The light (Sunrise) will start at 12:57, 3 minutes (one tenth of 30 minutes) before Wake time.

The music (Bird singing) will start at 1:00PM. By this new auto-scale, you can enjoy full 90% dark sleep, with 10% natural Sunrise.
