Financial Assistance

• Assistance towards Enrolment cost: Financial Assistance of Rs. 50 per successful enrolment for Registrars – for 10 Crore enrolments upto Mar 2011 in the pilot phase; to cover cost of awareness building, enrolment, logistics, document storage etc.

• Assistance for BPL Enrollee : Financial Assistance to BPL and BPL+ enrollees (covered under RSBY) under 13th Finance Commission grant for enrolment of BPL residents as per guidelines issued by Ministry of Finance - Further augmented by the UIDAI to extend to residents covered by RSBY, MNREGA workers (who are provided employment of 15 days or more), licensed porters et al. Additional UIDAI grant to be spent as per TFC guidelines.

• Assistance for ICT Infrastructure: Financial Assistance for engagement of consultants, development of software, networking, procurement and installation of hardware and biometric related devices, capacity development. .

Importance of connecting with CIDR

Connect Enrolment Station to CIDR at least once in two days and mandatorily once a week

A manifest is uploaded to CIDR. This is a list of all enrolment data added since last connection. It informs CIDR in advance what data to expect.

For the data records successfully received at CIDR, the process for deletion of such data residing at the enrolment station is triggered automatically.

In cases where there is problem with data records received from this enrolment station, a fresh instruction for EXPORTING this data again is generated automatically.
