Beauty & The Beast Christmas Appeal 2013

Beauty and the Beast macrobert Christmas Appeal Christmas is magical for most children, but many families are facing a tough time this year. We know of families who are battling illness, children who are the main carers in their homes and children who cope with the challenges of disability - every day. We know families who have to make difficult choices to make ends meet, particularly at Christmas time. This year macrobert is joining forces with businesses and generous people across the Forth Valley area so that families, who need a break, will be able to enjoy an outing to Beauty and the Beast at macrobert arts centre and have a wonderful time at the Panto! Charities like Strathcarron Hospice, W.I.S.H., and Aberlour Trust will distribute donated and sponsored tickets to the families most in need of a break. For some children, it will be the first time they go to the pantomime with their family. For some it may be the only time. Beauty and the Beast tickets will be spread across several performances so that families can join in unobtrusively. Every child will receive an autographed cast photograph and enjoy a complimentary ice cream at the interval. £30 - you will help a child to take a special person to the panto this Christmas £60 - a family of four will have a magical time together £120 - 8 children, or 2 families will share some festive fun £300 - 20 children or 5 families will enjoy a fabulous time at the panto £600 - 10 families of four will have memories to share ‘Breathless with laughter’**** The Herald - Cinderella 2012 You could help children like these*: Sam is 12 and has complex learning and physical disabilities and health problems. He is often lonely and anxious. His sister Sarah, 17, helps to look after Sam instead of spending time with her friends or doing her own activities. Jessica is known as a ‘Butterfly’ child. Her skin blisters and tears and open wounds are painful. She has a condition called Epidermdysis Bullosa (EB). Her Mum says she seldom complains and is ‘always smiling’. *Sam, Sarah and Jessica all came to the Panto last year thanks to the generosity of people like you. Lead Sponsor: Supported by:
