STRATEGIES FOR THE CHURCHOrder in the House: Our services should be well organized and structured to make them more ap-pealing to members as well as guests, minimizing any downtime.Little Feet: The children’s department must be fully equipped with resources and enthusiastic teachers that will make it inviting to new members to want to bring their children every Sunday. All-Round Intercession: All church members and the intercessory group of the church should be en-couraged to include this initiative on their prayer list.Weekly Flyer Campaign: Each Assembly should design or develop weekly flyers that members will use to invite friends and neighbors to weekly events and services.Evangelism Team: Each Assembly should have an evangelism team that will be responsible for promot-ing and coordinating weekly or monthly evangelism exercises.Follow Up Team: Each Assembly should have a follow-up team which will coordinate calling and reminding new members of Sunday morning and mid-week services.Transportation Team: Each Assembly should have a transportation team that will be responsi-ble for bringing people who need transportation to church services and events (This should not be lim-ited to Sunday services).Mindful Services: Each Assembly should conduct their services in a way that everyone who comes, re-gardless of their tribe, language, race or nationality will feel welcome and develop a sense of belonging.Worker’s Training: Train ushers and greeters to be very welcoming to new visitors.Attend Members Functions: Attend special

events that are hosted by and affect members’ lives.Publicizing Church Events: Have flyers of church events available to share with people you meet.Monitor Attendance: Keep track of and monitor absences to check on members. Give A Ride: Volunteer to give your invitee(s) a ride to church or make arrangement(s) for them to be brought to church.You Are Welcome: Be more welcoming. Talk to new members and let people feel included. Be sen-sitive to identify member’s needs and work towards meeting them.Give-Aways: Be a giving church and meet the needs of new members. Provide some free things and ser-vices for new members.

STRATEGIES FOR MEMBERSMember Training: Members should be trained to become soul winners and encouraged to participate in weekly or bi-weekly evangelism events.Bring a Guest: Members should be encouraged to invite friends, families, neighbors, colleagues, and others to church services and events.Give A Ride: Members should be encouraged to pick-up other members who might be able to reach out to transportation team.Daily Prayer: Members should be encouraged to pray for the growth of the church on a daily basis.Spread The News: Members should be encour-aged to actively participate in the distribution of the weekly flyers of events and services.Act Like Christ: Members should be taught to demonstrate Christ-like behaviors to those sitting next to them in church so that they will feel com-fortable coming back to the church.
