INVESTMENT AND EXPANSION: • SCANFiner – The SCANfiner project will

increase production of ultra-low fuels by approximately 45,000 barrels per day. The purpose of SCANfiner is to take out sulfur in fuels while meeting environmental standards. Startup is anticipated in 2018.

• BLADE – ExxonMobil is considering a project to increase crude refining capacity at our Beaumont Refinery. The project would be within the existing refinery and increase the capacity to refine light crude oil from the Permian Basin in West Texas and New Mexico. The project is expected to create up to 1,850 construction jobs and between 40 and 60 permanent jobs upon completion.

• ISOM –Isomerization is a process that converts aligned hydrocarbons to provide higher octane for motor gasoline blending. Improvements to the ISOM unit in 2018 will enable increased production of supreme gasoline.
