LOWER LINK AND BEARINGS

Bearing pocket must be clean of oil or grease

Apply Loctite 609 or equivalent to DS bearing pockets

Bearing race must be clean of oil or grease

It is best to use alcohol to clean bearings, bearing pockets, and threads to ensure no oil or grease is on any of the surfaces during the assembly process

Use a toothpick to spread the Loctite to coat bearing pocket

Use enough Loctite to cover surface until wet

Press bearings into link6 7

UPPER LINK HARDWARE AND BEARINGS8

DSBefore installation clean oil and grease off of bearings and link.

Apply Loctite 609 or equivalentto DS and shock pin bearing pockets9 Use a toothpick to spread the Loctite to

Install bearing in DS and shock pin bearing pockets using a press11 12

Apply Loctite 609 or equivalent to rear traingle bearing pockets


Use a toothpick to spread the Loctite to coat the bearing pocket

Install bearings in both sides using a press15

Do not put loctite on bolt threads

Use a toothpick to spread the Loctite to coat threads

Use Loctite 243 or equivalent on threads in front triangle (both sides)

Install lower link DS Bolt and torque to 35Nm

Link Installation

21 Use a toothpick to spread Loctite 609 in NDS bearing pockets. 22 Install lower link with arrow on NDS

facing forward and torque to 35Nm



23 Check motion of link to ensure free movement

Link Installation

Apply Loctite 243 or equivalent to upper mount threads (both sides)24

Use a toothpick to spread the Loctite to coat threads25 Install bolt in DS and torque to 35Nm26

Apply Loctite 609 or equivalent to NDS bearing pocket27 Using a toothpick, spread the Loctite to

coat the bearing pocket28



Install NDS bearing and bolt29 Torque NDS bolt to 35Nm30

Clean any excess Loctite off of the frame and link31 Check motion of link to ensure free

Link Installation



Rear Traingle-Lower Link Installation

Use Loctite 243 or equivalent on rear triangle threads33 Use a toothpick to spread the Loctite to

coat threads34

Install lower link DS bolt and torque to 35Nm

Use a toothpick to spread Loctite 609 in NDS bearing pockets.

Apply Loctite 609 or equivalent to NDS bearing pocket 35

Install NDS bearing and bolt and torque bolt to 35Nm38



SHOCK PIN, BOLT, AND SPACERS

Apply grease to the shock shaft eyelet

41 Apply grease to the outside of the shock pin42

Insert the pin in the NDS bearing and pass through the NDS spacer and shock43

Shock Installation

Install the pin with the DS spacer. Clean any grease from the pin threads.44

Lay a piece of foam or a shop rag across the DT to protect it from the shock40



Check motion of link to ensure free movement

Install shock pin bolt on DS of upper link and torque to 13Nm

Shock Installation

Apply Loctite 243 or equivalent to shock pin bolt threads45

Apply grease to the threads of the front shock bolt50

Apply Loctite 243 or equivalent to the upper link (both sides)48

Use a toothpick to spread the Loctite to coat the threads49



Shock Installation

Install rear triangle bolts to the upper link and torque to 35Nm52

The frame is now assembled with the shock54

Install front shock bolt and torque to 13Nm51

Wipe the upper link to clean off any Loctite53
