MathMathStudents are expected to know their addition and subtraction facts. Timed facts tests are given on Fridays.A math journal is used to record daily notes and practice exercises from class lessons. They are kept in class, but may go home in the student’s binder for review. The Daily Math Homework is the best way to practice at home and show parents what is learned in class. Students are expected to use higher level thinking skills. They are encouraged to use the 4-Step Problem Solving Process to show their thinking.
