Row 1: 1 Sc in second Ch from hook and each Ch across. Turn. (10 Sc)
Rows 2-68: Ch 1. (does not count as St here and throughout) 1 Sc (BLO) in each St across. Turn. (10 Sc)
Your ribbing should be about 18” across. For a bigger or smaller hat, add or remove rows here by multiples of 2 before moving on.
Join your first and last row together by slip stitching across. Turn your ribbing correct side out so the seam is now on the inside. You will now begin to work in the round for the body of the hat.
