BE calculation guide

SAP BE Using controlling module

For Calculation of BE in SAP, Based on future Price, we need to follow the following steps:

Upload Raw materials future price.

Upload Plan cost.

Upload Plan Activity

Calculate plan activity rates

Run cost estimates (up to analysis stage)

1. Upload Future raw material prices (Via Upload program), which appears in Material Master data Planned Price 2 see fig 01, because priority is set for valuation variant in costing variant ZPC1 see fig 02

2. Upload Plan cost to all Work centers (Production Cost Centers 2020Split for Beltexco Ltd) using LSMW, and use Plan Version 08

3. Upload Plan Activity for all Work centers (Production Cost Centers) using LSMW upload program, and use Plan Version 08.

4. Calculate Plan Price for Activity using T Code KSPI and check the price in KSBT report


KSBT Report:

5. Create Cost Estimate using CK40N, using Costing ZPC1 and Costing Version other than 08and


Select proper range of date for which BE is required, and complete the only up to Analysis stage to get

the results.


UPLOAD Procedure and programs (Material Prices, KP06 and KP26)

Material Price Upload Future Price of Raw Material is uploaded considering following steps.

1. Identify list of materials which need to valuated at Future price/ Market Price in coordination with procurement dept.

2. Arrange all data in Upload template and complete the file in excel and convert to Notepad. 3. Use LSMW with upload program PSL_PLAN_PRICE1.

01) Procurement dept. will provide list of Raw materials whose price are evaluated at future/market value for the month or quarter for which the BE is being provided.

02) Upload template:

Upload template contain following fields

Material number (Use only)

Check box (Use only)

Plant (Use only)

Future Planned Price 1

Future Planned Price 2 (Use only)

Future Planned Price 3

Date from Which Future Planned Price 1 Is Valid

Date from Which Future Planned Price 2 Is Valid (Use only)

Date from Which Future Planned Price 3 Is Valid Then copy the data from excel upload template into Notepad document and remove space from bottom of the document remove space from the bottom of notepad and maintain space on the top of file

Then upload file is ready for uploading.


03) Upload Procedure

Use T code LSMW to upload with program PSL_PLAN_PRICE1

Write the program into all field Project, Subproject and object and then press execute button the following screen appears, go to item # 7 Specify Files and execute.

After execution the following screen pops up and first press to bring the data into change mode

double click on selected row to give path to upload file


And the complete all steps

Assign files, Read Data, Display Read Data, Convert Data, display converted data, Create batch input

And finally Run Batch input session and press

And for verification check materials master data for planned prices.


Uploading Planning Activity KP26

Steps

Prepare planning activity file in excel and then convert to Notepad for upload

Use LSMW bearing Project Midas_fico, Subproject zfi_co Object KP26PRD

Check upload results in report S_ALR_87013611.


Uploading Planning cost KP06

Steps

Prepare planning activity file in excel and then convert to Notepad for upload

Use LSMW bearing Project MIDAS SL 3 , Subproject FICO, Object KP061

Check upload results in report S_ALR_87013611.
