Financial AidFinancial Aid is assistance intended to help students pay for college and reach their educational goals. Assistance may come in a variety of forms, such as grants, scholarships, work and loan programs. Fresno State awards financial aid and/or scholarships to over 70% of our students. You can submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.gov. The FAFSA can be submitted October 1 – June 30. Fresno State’s priority deadline is March 2.

The Save Mart Center is the largest university indoor arena on the West Coast of the U.S., featuring everything from concerts to bull riding to NCAA basketball playoffs to commencement ceremonies.

The Criminology 108 program, in partnership with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office, offers Fresno State students the opportunity to complete requirements to becoming law enforcement officers while pursuing their academic degrees. The program includes a physical training regimen that builds skills and mental toughness.

Vintage Days is a three-day festival that attracts about 50,000 people from the community to celebrate Fresno State.

Dr. Reece and his students visit Morro Bay to study the impact of dredging. They are joined by professors and students in the Chemistry Department and the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences.
