THREE Cs OF BRANDING A brand has to be nurtured, it takes time, thought and consistent application. But it does not have to take big budgets. It is a process that requires both discipline & passion and caring for the big picture & the small detail. CREDIBILITY A credible brand will always align the way a business behaves with the way it is portrayed. This close connection will ensure that your customer’s instinctive reaction is one of trust and belief in your brand not one of doubt and uncertainty. Through this trust becomes brand Loyalty where consumers become more trustworthy of products & services. CLARITY A strong brand is based on clearly defined values that are important to your customers and that differentiate you from your competitors. A clear understanding of these values throughout your business will ensure that they are communicated clearly through everything you say and everything you do. Clarity comes through by creating common elements in a marketing strategy so consumers can distension and retain brand information. CONSISTENCY The value of a brand comes through recognition and recognition comes from consistent application of every visible manifestation of your brand, at every ‘touch point’ that your customers experience. Through a brand standard of logo and design elements (colour, font, texture, imagery and power words) consumers will come to remember, retain and share your brand. If consistency is lost your brand will become forgettable. A brand can take many forms from a name, symbol, color palette or even a slogan. Brand Identity affects the personality of a product, company or service and reflects a perception of your business. Essentially, your brand helps to shape your identity. These perceptions can be controlled by consistent visual communication and design elements. A clear identity creates a framework to promote or present your business. Brand Identity is something that’s different from a logo but, unfortunately is commonly mistaken as one. An identity is something that encompasses a culmination of all the visual and non-visual elements that make up a company or business. Everything from a name to a logo, business cards, website design, packaging or even in-store experiences. It encompasses the entire experience as a whole. A brand has to be nurtured, it takes time, thought and consistent application. But it does not have to take big budgets. It is a process that requires both discipline & passion and caring for the big picture & the small detail.

CREDIBILITYA credible brand will always align the way a business behaves with the way it is portrayed. This close connection will ensure that your customer’s instinctive reaction is one of trust and belief in your brand not one of doubt and uncertainty. Through this trust becomes brand Loyalty where consumers become more trustworthy of products & services.

CLARITYA strong brand is based on clearly defined values that are important to your customers and that differentiate you from your competitors. A clear understanding of these values throughout your business will ensure that they are communicated clearly through everything you say and everything you do. Clarity comes through by creating common elements in a marketing strategy so consumers can distension and retain brand information.

CONSISTENCYThe value of a brand comes through recognition and recognition comes from consistent application of every visible manifestation of your brand, at every ‘touch point’ that your customers experience.

CLIENT BRIEFThis is crucial to the successful outcome of the project. This insures that we set guidelines up front before the work commences. We set goals for what needs to be developed and the best methods of delivery to maximize the brand identity.

RESEARCHMarket research for sectors & sub sectors of business are researched to understand where to position brand. This understanding allows us to strategically develop a brand that will communicate well with the target market and result in sales & growth.

SKETCHThis stage usually involves tons of sketches done to visually communicate the message developed in the brief stage. These are filtered down to 2-5 unique directions. All logos are sketched in Black & White to allow for different applications.

CONCEPTSThis is crucial to the successful outcome of the project as we need to develop an identity to communicate with the consumer. Brand elements (colours, fonts, imagery) are planned out at this stage to integrate all items into a cohesive unit.

PRESENTWe present these concepts and explain the rationale behind each and why they’ll be successful. We work with you to settle on a direction to pursue and what areas to expand or revise.

REVISERevisions from presenting stage are edited or expanded on to finalize direction. Brand elements such as icons, backgrounds or fonts are further developed to create a unique look and clear system to build future marketing material.

LAUNCH & DELIVERLogo items and brand elements are sent electronically as you retain 100% ownership of the artwork and brand identity.
