Kedron Brook Catchment overview
Kedron Brook's headwaters begin in Brisbane Forest Park in thewest, and flows east through the northern suburbs of Brisbane. Thewaterway flows past the airport via Schultz Canal and the KedronBrook Floodway to enter Moreton Bay between Nudgee Beach andEagle Farm.
Although the majority of the catchment is urban residential land, there are significant bushland and wetland areas, as well as smallpockets of industrial and agricultural area. Kedron Brook hassignificant amounts of parkland along the Brook with the KedronBrook Bikeway following the majority of the Brook's length.
