The BCAC Wayfinding Banner Art Contest

A Panel of community judges will select eleven winners from these categories:

BUSD Middle School Students Independence High Students Piedmont Hills High Students Community Adults

Where You Come In

You create a visual image of how you see Berryessa – past or present. The BCAC recommends images that align with one of these themes:

Culture (People, Diversity, Traditions)

Heritage (Buildings, Founders, Sites, Landscapes)

Nature (Trees, Wildlife, Creeks) Community (Events,

Entertainment, Festivals) Active Living (Hiking, Biking,

Sports, Swimming)

You may submit ONE entry consisting of an original photo or photograph of an original work of art.

“The BCAC is in action to connect and beautify Berryessa”

Linda Locke, BCAC President

Key Submission Criteria – Failure to Meet All Criteria May Result in Disqualification.

Only original works of art will be accepted (You must own the rights to every image in the work.)

Since the banner space for your work will be 30” wide and 82” high your submission should be cropped to fit this ratio.

Converting your creation into a banner will require significant enlargement, so your digital file must be high resolution, cropped photographic image measuring 2000x5000 pixels @ 300dpi

Image editing by the artist is permitted, but excessive or unrealistic renderings may be judged unacceptable.
