Our department of Computer Applications were started in the year 2000.

Department Activities:

11.06.2015

Our department applied for additional section to the university from this academic year 2015.The commission approval was held on 11.06.2015. Mr.Parthasarathy inspected and approved for the admission of extra 60 students.

19.06.2015

A book exhibition was held on 19.06.2015 at Tanjore. 30 students from BCA along with their HOD went for the exhibition.

Union Election:

Our college union election was held on 10.07.2015.In our department five students were nominated and elected. They are

Seminar:

Sep 23rd:

Annai Collge conducted the National Level Technical Meet On Sep 23rd.Our department students participated in the Events Debugging, Paper presentation,Connection,and NithyaSri got Third prize in Debugging.

24.11.2015

E.Governance CM award was conducted by collector head.Our college BCA department students nearly Sixteen students(Two Groups) did the project regarding Cattle.

Our Collge got IInd Prize.BCA department students are G.Muthuponnu,K.Vananja.They got cash Award Rs.7,500 andReceived certificates.

21st & 23rd

Our College conducted the “College to corporate” seminar for the final year UG & PG students. Our BCA students nearly 116 students attended the seminar.The chief guest and Trainee Mr.K.Alex,Assit.Professor of St.Joseph’s College Trichy.He was Trained them in Aptitude and Attitude.

16.03.2016

On 16.03.2016 computer science department organized a technical event “ICSTE”.Our department students R.Kanimozhi and K.Abdalangelin got I prize in silent Mode and received certificate from CS Department.

10.03.2016

E.G.S pillai,Nagapattinum college conducted the “National Seminor”.Our BCA Department students participated in that function.

Paper Presentation:

R.Kanimozhi,S.Padma priya,K.Abdaangelin,S.Dhatchayini participated and got First prize with certificates.

Debugging:

I.Manjula,B.Priyanka,R.Ragavi,M.Yazhini,M.Meera,R.Rubasri,R.Sureka are participated in that event .They got Second prize.

03.08.2015

Project orientation was conducted on 03.08.2015 .Three companies canvassed for final year students. The companies are “Spansys Tech”,”Alpha sense Tech”,and “Indian Brains”.Our final year students were selected spansys technology.

18.08.2015

Our department “workshop” was conducted on 18.08.2015 .The chief guest was Mr.K.Antony Justin. He delivered the speech on Java 8 & My SQL.The Chief guest selected 8 students for “Best Programmer”.

Sep 30th.

AVC College conducted the National level symposium.Our department student, nearly 10 students participated in various event.The Events are Connection,Power point presentation,Debugging.Our student R.Kanimozhi got Third prize in Debugging.

Valictory:

Our BCA department conducted the Valedictory that was held on 24.03.2016.The Chief guest was Mr.Balachandar,Distributed the project certificate.

Staff Achievements:

30.01.2016

Our Idhaya college celebrated the Annual Sports Meet on 30th January. our principal sister gave prizes for 100% Result.Mrs.R.Kanimozhi ,Miss.N.Ishwarys received prizes for 100% result.

International journal of advanced research

Mrs.K.Bhuvanehwari published a reseach paper entitiled “Colletive intellegence of Human Conversational text” on 20th April,2016

Sports :

Volley Ball:

Sep 3rd & 4th:

Our department student S.Cathrin attended the Volley Ball Tournament on sep 3rd & 4th in poombukar college at Melaiyur.She got Runner Cup.

KHO-KHO

Sep 14th & 15th :

Our department student P.Kaviyarasi participated in the Kho-Kho Tournament on sep 14th & 15th at Raja’s College,Pudukottai.She got Third Prize.

Ball Badminton

Sep 25th & 26th:

Our department III BCA ‘B’ student V.Jayalakshmi participated in Ball Badminton Tournament. Our Idhaya College conducted the university match(Ball Badminton),and she got first prize Winner Cup.

30.01.2016

Our Idhaya college celebrated the Annual Sports Meet on 30th January.Our BCA Students V.Jayalakshmi and SriNithya received Olympic light.

Cultural:

21.12.2015.

Our College conducted the CRIB & CAROLS competition for students regarding Christmas.Our department nearly 18 students participated.The chief guests were Rev.Fr.Rajan and Rev.Fr.Jayaseelan.Our students got IInd Prize for CAROL Competition.

Cooking competition

Our College celebrated the pongal function for that they conducted cooking competition. so our BCA staff Mrs.R.Kanimozhi got first prize.

Suppose Pongal

We celebrated the Suppose pongal on 12th & 13th January 2016.The chief guest was Dr.Muthulakshmi ,Assit.Professor of Dharpuram Adinam Arts College,Myiladudurai.

Our BCA students SriNithya II’A’ performed classical Dance for pongal celebration.

    

Drama competition:

Our I BCA ‘B’ students participated in Drama Competition.they got First Prize.And the cultural Events,our BCA nearly 12 students performed the pongal dance.

Mrs.Idhaya:

Our Idhaya college conducted Mrs.Idhaya Competition,our BCA staff Mrs.K.Bhuvaneswari got First prize in Mrs.Idhaya.

Rank Holder:

Our BCA student Miss.T.Fameena got 14th Rank, in university examination. she received shield on graduation day.
