Tutorial Attendance:

Compulsory and must be On-Time. 3 absence warning letter (cc to School, programme

director/coordinator, academic advisor)

Participation: Attendance is not participation.

Group work: Free-rider in any group work will be penalized.

Partial Attendance in Test/Exam will NOT be granted supplementary exam.

Important Reminders:

Absence on Midterm Test and any assessments other than Final Exam: Arrangement is at the lecturer’s discretion.

Absence on Final Exam: Students must follow HKU procedures described in this link:http://www.exam.hku.hk/B.htm#absence

Medical Certificate: Original States clearly that “student is unfit for exam” on the date of concern.

Important Reminders:

Students failing the same course for more than 3 times, obtaining a SGPA below 1.0 or passing less than 36 credits for 2 consecutive semesters will be recommended for discontinuation.

GPA is important for applying enrichment activities.

All course enrollment is handled centrally by Faculty Office. Individual lecturer has no right to course enrollment.
