General Settings for Hybris Marketing

1 PurposeThe purpose of this document is to describe the configuration steps required for the general and account related settings of SAP Hybris Marketing as required for the SAP Hybris Marketing rapid-deployment solution. This document supplements the existing customizing documentation and provides additional information where required.

2 Preparation2.1 PrerequisitesBefore you start the implementation of this building block, install all prerequisite building blocks as specified in the Prerequisites Matrix for the relevant scope-item.

3 Configuration3.1 General Settings3.1.1 Defining Marketing Areas

UseIn this activity you define marketing areas that are used in authorization management to restrict the access of target groups, campaigns and campaign content. To restrict access, enter the marketing areas in the HPA_MKT_AR authorization object. By default, this authorization object is assigned to the following business roles that you created as part of the rapid-deployment solution implementation:

Business Role Created in Building Block

Z_CEI_TG_INI Business Roles and User Management for Hybris Marketing (CEQ)

Z_TELCO_TG_INI Basic Settings for Telecommunications (CMB)

Since authorization requirements vary for every organization, the procedure is only a technical ‘how to’ for creating marketing areas that can be assigned to the HPA_MKT_AR authorization object. It is not sufficient to follow only the steps described. Carefully review exactly what marketing areas are required for your organization.

Procedure1. Access the transaction using the following navigation options:

Transaction code SPRO

SAP IMG menu SAP Hybris Marketing General Settings Define Marketing Areas

2. On the Change View “View for Marketing Area”: Overview screen, choose New Entries.3. On the New Entries: Details of Added Entries screen, maintain the following values:
