1. DIMENSIONS FOR EXISTING STRUCTURE WERE DRAWN FROM PREVIOUS CONSTRUCTIONDOCUMENTS AND FIELD MEASUREMENTS. CONTRACTOR SHALL FIELD VERIFY ALLDIMENSIONS.
2. CONTRACTOR SHALL PREPARE EXISTING SURFACES TO RECEIVE NEW WORK AND/ORSHALL PATCH AND REPAIR SURFACES DAMAGED DURING REMOVAL OR INSTALLATION OF THEWORK INDICATED. DAMAGED SURFACES SHALL BE REPAIRED TO MATCH THE EXISTINGADJACENT SURFACES. WHERE REMOVAL OF EXISTING ITEMS CREATES VOIDS ORDEPRESSION IN EXISTING FLOORS CONTRACTOR SHALL PATCH AND REPAIR FLOOR LEVELWITH EXISTING.
3. ALL WORK SHOWN IS NEW UNLESS OTHERWISE INDICATED.
4. HOLES CUT IN EXISTING PERMANENT WALLS, ROOF AND FLOORS TO PERMIT THEINSTALLATION OF DUCTWORK, PIPING, CONDUIT AND SIMILAR ITEMS SHALL BE CAREFULLYMADE AND RESTRICTED TO ITS SMALLEST PRACTICABLE SIZE. OVERSIZE, IRREGULAR, ORUNNECESSARY OPENINGS SHALL BE FILLED IN, PATCHED AND REPAIRED. THE INTEGRITY OFALL FIRE BARRIERS INCLUDING WALLS, CEILINGS AND FLOORS SHALL BE MAINTAINED BYUSING APPROVED UL WALLS, CEILINGS AND FLOOR ASSEMBLIES.
5. PROTECT EXISTING EQUIPMENT AND DEVICES IN AREA OF WORK WHEN IT IN NOT POSSIBLETO REMOVE OR RELOCATE. PROTECT FROM DUST AND PHYSICAL DAMAGE.
6. PROVIDE TEMPORARY DUST PARTITIONS AS REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE WORK ANDPROTECT ADJACENT SPACES.
7. CONTRACTOR SHALL MAINTAIN FREE AND UNOBSTRUCTED ACCESS TO AND EGRESS FROMTHE AREA OF WORK.
8. SITE OBSERVATION IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO FINAL PRICE TO ENSURE A COMPLETEUNDERSTANDING OF THE WORK TO BE ACCOMPLISHED. THIS INCLUDES WORK NOTSPECIFICALLY INDICATED BUT REQUIRED FOR PROPER CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OFTHE WORK. VERIFY ALL EXISTING CONDITIONS AND DIMENSIONS.
9. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROTECT ALL EXISTING AREAS TO BE DISTURBED BY THEREQUIREMENTS OF THE WORK INDICATED. CONTRACTOR SHALL RESTORE, REPAIR ORREPLACE ALL CEILINGS, WALL COVERINGS, WALL SURFACES AND SIMILAR ITEMS DAMAGEDDURING THE COURSE OF THE WORK TO MATCH THE EXISTING. INTEGRITY OF ALL FIRE RATEDASSEMBLIES SHALL BE MAINTAINED. CONTRACTOR SHALL CLEAN AND REMOVE DEBRIS INEXISTING AREAS ON A DAILY BASIS.
10. ALL WORK SHALL CONFORM TO ALL LOCAL, STATE AND FEDERAL CODES.
11. CONTRACTORS AND SUB-CONTRACTORS SHALL BE LICENSED IN THE CITY OF PENSACOLAAND ESCAMBIA COUNTY TO PERFORM THEIR TRADES.
12. CONTRACTOR AND SUB-CONTRACTOR SHALL HAVE WORKMANS COMP. INSURANCE ANDHOLD THE OWNER HARMLESS FOR ALL INJURIES.
13. ALL WORK SHALL BE GUARANTEED FOR ONE YEAR FROM SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION.
14. WORK SHALL NOT DEVIATE FROM THE PLANS WITHOUT WRITTEN PERMISSION FROM THEARCHITECT.
15. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL OBTAIN AND PAY FOR ALL FEES, PERMITS, STAMPS,INSPECTIONS, ETC., AS REQUIRED.
16. UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE, OWNER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR RELOCATING LOOSEFURNITURE, EQUIPMENT, COMPUTERS ETC. FROM WORK AREA. CO-ORDINATE WORK WITHOWNER.
