Battle on Bay has evolved in many ways since the first conference in2007, and continues to grow and prosper each coming year. Message from the Associate Dean
As the Associate Dean and the previous Chair of theFinance department at the Ted Rogers School ofManagement, I have worked closely with the Battle onBay team for the past several years. Each year, thisconference challenges students with a comprehensive,integrative financial case that forces them to integrate theknowledge they have gained throughout theirundergraduate careers. This is the 10th year anniversaryof Battle on Bay and I am confident that it will be biggerand better than ever before. The conference promises tobe a fun, challenging and rewarding experience that willallow participants to have an opportunity to expand theirnetworks, immerse themselves in a comprehensive casecompetition, learn from business leaders and gaininsights towards their careers.

Ryerson University Finance Society
Founded in 2003, the Ryerson University Finance Society (RUFS) isthe premier campus resource for undergraduate finance students. Ouroutstanding team members organize and execute events that createopportunities for like-minded students to exchange ideas andinformation with firms and industry professionals.
Some of examples of the events hosted by RUFS, include the annualAlumni Gala, Accounting & Finance Week, and Industry Night.RUFS is a well recognized student group at the Ted Rogers Schoolof Management and has been awarded as the “Student Group of theYear,” “Best Case Competition of the Year,” “Best Academic Eventof the Year,” and “Best Collaborative Event of the Year.” With thisprestige recognition from the Ryerson Commerce Society, we striveto continue to grow as a student organization and add value to thestudent experience at Ryerson University.
Battle on BayBattle on Bay will be celebrating its 10th Annual Conference onJanuary 13th and 14th, 2017 in downtown Toronto. It is a uniquefinancial case competition presented by the Ryerson UniversityFinance Society, in which it allows undergraduate commercestudents from across Canada, to utilize and develop their analyticalskills to solve current financial issues. In addition, delegates willhave the opportunity to present their creative solutions in front of adiverse panel of industry professionals. From this experience,participating delegates will gain exposure to financial issuesoccurring in the current business world and have the opportunity tomeet with industry professionals that deal with these issues on adaily basis.

delegate presentations
