BATIMAT RUSSIA 2018 —

From April 3 to 6, the leading manufacturers and distributors of building and finishing materials, together with the best designers, architects and decorators, have presented the debut collections of the new season, installations and special projects at the largest international exhibition site in the Crocus Expo IEC. BATIMAT RUSSIA 2018 is the most effective industry’s business project for both participants and visitors, covering all segments of the industry at a single site.

A special importance of holding the exhibition at the beginning of season, as well as an obvious increase in exhibitors and special industry-specific projects were noted by all participants of the grand opening ceremony:

In their speeches, the participants of the ceremony have emphasized that the holding of the International Building and Interior Exhibition BATIMAT RUSSIA promotes to the development of innovative industries, construction industry in Russia, international cooperation and establishment of business contacts and creates prerequisites for the growth of the export potential of local manufacturers.

Traditionally the BATIMAT RUSSIA 2018 became the most visited industry event of the year:

• During 4 days the exhibition was visited by 103,725 industry professionals from 86 countries of the world;

• exhibitors - 1,005 companies from 56 countries and 80 regions of Russia - presented over 2,800 trademarks;

• total area of the exhibition was over 100,000 sq. m.

The section of Russian, Italian and Spanish manufacturers of ceramic tiles sanitary ware and who annually present their new collections and modern trends in design, has traditionally aroused much interest of specialists. Each stand is a unique exhibition of design ideas, a visual aid for the use of new materials and technologies, which introduces visitors to the variety of styles and possibilities for their application.

The Floor coverings section clearly demonstrated new developments and trends in the field of floor coverings by the leaders of the industry: Kastamonu, Amorim, Classen, Unilin (Quick Step, Balterio, Pergo), Evig (Hain, Forbo, Timberwise, Barlinek), etc.

Section Doors. Accessories covered both entrance and interior groups, interesting accessories of various styles.

The sections of Construction materials. Windows. Facade materials covered new products from leading manufacturers, both traditional participants and new companies. The emphasis this year was on premium-class windows - wooden, wood-aluminum and aluminum profiles. Manufacturers of underface facade materials, facade systems and architectural glass participated for the first time.

Traditionally, innovative materials and technologies were presented at the Skolkovo stand. For the first time the BATIMAT RUSSIA hosted the Brick Alley, where the leading manufacturers of ceramic bricks and porous concrete demonstrated their new products.

The section Finishing materials for interior. Decor items. Furniture enjoyed a genuine interest of the exhibition’s visitors: explore and chose the whole range of trends of interior and exterior design is an important final component of any project. All this is possible in a single exhibition space of the BATIMAT RUSSIA!

The brightest and most large-scale exposition of the BATIMAT RUSSIA 2018 exhibition was the Alley of Designers - interior solutions of leading Russian designers and professional schools. These are unique concepts of Complex Solutions of Designers demonstrating the elements and combinations forming the fashion trends, how to work with new collections offered on the market.

The exposition’s participants: British Higher School of Art and Design, the Details Design School, Natasha Barbier and Marianna Petrenko (Channel 1, Perfect Renovation), Elena Teplitskaya, Anna Muravina, Irina Chun.

Style and fashion in bathroom interiors was presented by: Boris Uborevich-Borovskiy, Maria Romanova, Diana Balashova, Nadezhda Lashku, Dima Loginoff. Amazing conceptual projects amazed the spectators with their boldness and originality of ideas, pushing the boundaries of a usual perception of interior.

For the first time the exhibition hosted unique Mirror-World selfie-zones from the designer Maria Boyarova and photographer Elena Smirnova - a special Mirror-World either reflects the reality and lives in its own universe.

The TREND SPACE selfie - a podium by Kirill Lopatinsky, made using a unique technology of designer handmade panels designed specifically for the exhibition, elicited enthusiastic feedback of specialists, leading designers and representatives of specialized media.

In 2018, the business program of the exhibition, the official events and a variety of master classes, was held non-stop, simultaneously in 5 stationary rooms and on 4 open areas. The BATIMAT RUSSIA featured a wide range of events for all categories of participants and visitors. Experts could visit over 10 professional conferences, round tables and dedicated seminars. The partners for the events were the dedicated committees of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and the Ministry of Construction of Russia, the Russian Union of Builders (RUB), the Association of Developers of the Moscow Region, the SRO "The Union "Interregional Association of Special Construction Organizations", the National Association of Surveyors and Designers (NASD), Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI), Union of Professional Property Managers in the field of housing and utilities, All-Russian public organization "Business Russia", news agency "Construction Business".

The events were supported by: The Ministry of Construction of the Moscow Region, the Union of Cost Engineers, the Moscow Confederation of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Russian Guild of Managing Developers, the Russian branch of the International Federation of Real Estate Professionals of FIABCI-Russia, the International Public Organization for Promotion of Building Education (ACB), the Moscow Investors Association and other professional organizations.

All four days the орen-space zones of the master classes were full of visitors. Visitors, having previously studied the program, specially came to meet with star designers, architects, industry experts: Enrico Guaitoli Panini, Dima Loginoff, Diana Balashova, Elena Teplitskaya, Boris Uborevich-Borovskiy, Phillip Moizer, Irina Chun.

For the first time at the BATIMAT RUSSIA 2018, the exhibition visitors met the PEREDELKA TV team: Nadezhda Matyushenko - executive producer, Tatyana Gromon and Tatyana Kozyreva - hosts of the TV shows "Housing issue" and "Dacha Response". The experts arranged a unique and single master class, telling about behind-the-scenes life of the TV shows hosts, not just shows beloved by several generations of Russians, but also unique venues for talented designers and architects where one can present own design ideas to a multi-million audience.

arch: speech lounge - a zone for architects and designers as part of the BATIMAT RUSSIA 2018 exposition demonstrating: video reviews of international and architectural sites on current topics and global trends in urban planning, as well as a unique library of books on urban planning, architecture and design of the publishing house DOM publishers and speech magazines: In the comfortable VIP-lounge, the experts explored rare recent books, talked to the authors of the international publishing house.

The best projects were traditionally presented at the exhibition and the annual BATIMAT INSIDE competition results were announced. The awarding ceremony was held in the form of "dialogues about design” participated by invited experts: Vladimir Skadin - vice-president of the MAO Sreda, Yuri Vissarionov - chief architect of the FGBU TsNIIP Ministry of Construction of Russia, representatives of the contest jury, as well as Sergei Sysoyev, head of the independent environmental test department of the EcoStandard group, and the winners of the BATIMAT INSIDE competition.

For the first time at the exhibition site the WorldSkills Russia’s national team held training in the competences "Brickwork" and "Facing with tiles", as well as international competitions in industrial design. On the last day, the names of the winner and awardees of the Championship according to the standards of WorldSkills Russia among plumbing and heating specialists, the Plumbing Star Russia 2018 were announced. Three finalists: 1 place - Sergey Sapronov; 2nd place - Valery Nikitin; 3rd place - Vasily Kartsev got the opportunity to become coaches of the national team for the qualification in Plumbing and heating. Moreover, the winner will go to Germany to the Grohe plumbing factory, and awardees were awarded by companies Grundfos, Rothenberger, Grohe and TECE. In the competence of Industrial Design the winners were: 1 place - Baojie Li (China), 2 place - Anastasia Artemyeva (Russia), 3 place - Sang Uook Ahn South (Korea).

The participants, market leaders, unanimously consider that BATIMAT RUSSIA successfully develops a unique format

of the only significant event of the industry, uniting at a single exhibition space all thematic segments

and key events for consumers of the construction and interior market.
