The ZV28 “SubMergence” Profundo Subwoofer can deliverbass so low as to be at the very limits of human hearing. Theadvantage of this capability, even if you rarely need it, is thatfrequencies that stress lesser subwoofers are reproducedeffortlessly and powerfully by the ZV28.

The ZV28 is a self-powered, self-processing, self-protecting,vented, direct radiating subwoofer with a large internal volume anda very low tuned frequency. Anti-standing wave baffles and pass-through dampers minimize upper resonances while very large portsmaximize low frequency performance at high output. Protectionsystems and limiters control all manners of overload, includingthermal, excursion and clipping. The ZV28 is optimized for full-power operation. It is designed to operate at full rated RMS powerthroughout its operating range while ensuring the woofers remainwithin their excursion and thermal limits.

The ZV28 delivers consistently flat frequency response from 1 wattto 3000 watts. A pair delivers response that is -3dB at 21 Hz. Noequalization is required to achieve this response. The response isavailable at high levels in real-world applications. Thanks to thelow-bass sensitivity and the robust components, massive low endis delivered when the prodigious power is applied. The ZV28’ssensitivity is achieved, and maintained, through carefuloptimization, the use of premium components and innovative,proprietary thermal management techniques.

The ZV28 is not a paper tiger. It delivers what it promises. Othersubwoofers can be made to look similar on paper, but come upshort in the field. Beware of loudspeaker systems that requireprocessing to achieve their claimed frequency response! Thosesystems are still subject to the excursion and thermal limits of theirdrivers. Boosting low frequency EQ to achieve extended low-

frequency response on specification charts isn’t the way to deliversuperior results at maximum power. In fact, boosting low frequency

EQ is likely to result in excessive distortion or woofer damage atfull power. Under those circumstances the system cannot beutilized at it’s capabilites. If limiting is applied to avert such failure,that limiting prevents the realization of the claimed frequencyresponse at full power.

The ZV28 does NOT have low-frequency EQ boost and does NOTsuffer from these limitations. It faithfully delivers extremely lowbass, very loudly, where most others either roll off or die trying.

The ZV28’s woofer cones are waterproofed so the cabinets aresafe to use outdoors where they may encounter rain, in nightclubswhere drinks may be spilled on them, or in dusty environments thatmay leave the drivers needing a thorough cleaning. The warrantydoes cover failed drivers, including burned voice coils, for 2 yearsfrom the date of purchase. The XSP218 can powerfully reproduce the lowest notes in any music, reliably,consistently and with great fidelity. And unlike some impractically heavy, complicated and expensive boxes,the MAXX-ill is simple, surprisingly cost effective and efficient. It can be moved without theneed for a forklift!

The XSP218 incorporates innovative new technologies into a rigidly braced, large ventedbox optimized for maximum output and reliability when used for extremely low frequencies.It is a loudspeaker that sustains its output long-term and is practically impossible to blowthanks to the combination of extremely rugged, very high power handling, long excursiondrivers, carefully optimized cabinet and port design and effective but transparent protectionsystems. The protection systems effectively prevent thermal overload of the voice coils andminimize long-term thermal compression while having virtually no effect on the transientresponse and peak output of the loudspeaker.

The MAXX-ill provides very high output, low frequency sound with extremely low distortion.The speaker delivers the same frequency response at full power that it measures at lowpower because it is optimized for full-power operation and is designed to run at full powerthroughout its operating range. This means the tone doesn't change as the levels increase,the effect of which is low-frequency power and presence that's comparable to double thequantity of competitors' similar boxes.

The XSP218 is extremely flat, delivering response that is +- 1.5dB from 32Hz to 100Hz. Noequalization is required to achieve this response. Many competitors claim to deliver similar

frequency response capabilities, but if you look closer you’ll see that to achieve this responsethey very often require equalization. Systems that require equalization to achieve their statedresponse are still subject to the excursion and thermal limits of their drivers. Boosting lowfrequency EQ to achieve extended low-frequency response results in excessive distortion orwoofer damage at full power unless limiting is applied. Their claimed frequency responsecannot be realized at full volume. The limiting necessary to avert failure prevents it, so thecharacter of the loudspeaker changes at high levels. The MAXX-ill does not suffer from theselimitations. It faithfully delivers the low bass where most others either roll off or die trying.

The MAXX-ill XSP218 includes dual bridged 3400W amplifier modules for a total of 6800Wof power with on-board fixed-latency digital signal processing. The processor is used toprovide crossover and limiter functions and the standard settings are compatible with allBASSBOSS products. The DSP has additional capabilities and custom presets can be factoryinstalled upon request. Four presets can be stored in the DSP and can be selected from theamplifier panel on the rear of the speaker. A level control is also provided, allowing gainadjustment from off to +12dB. The level control can also be bypassed to prevent accidentalchanges. The amplifier module has a universal power supply and power factor correction,allowing it to run on electrical supplies from 85V to 270V. Power input is via Neutrik Powerconand signal input is via XLR. Pass-through connectors for both power and signal are provided.

The MAXX-ill's woofer cones are waterproof, so they're impervious to liquids, whether rainat an outdoor festival, spilled beverages in a busy nightclub or being wiped down after abeach gig. The BASSBOSS SSP215 Profundo subwoofer is a dual15” sub, but that’s far from the whole story. It’s poweredwith a 4000W amplifier. The amplifier provides 2400W tothe on-board woofers and, In addition, the amplifier canpower a second matching cabinet, providing a total of4000W. Each 15” woofer has a 4” voice coil and a powerhandling rating of 1200W rms and 2400W program. TheSSP215 is a 4800W program rated double 15. It competeswith many if not most double 18" subwoofers on themarket, providing equal or better output with significantlyless size and weight.

The smallest frontal dimension is only 17.5”, making it superversatile for placement options because it can fit under low stages,can be flown in low ceilings and can be tucked in corners orbetween furniture where larger boxes would not fit. Its largedimension is 48”, making it useful as a stack platform for gettingthe top boxes up above the audiences’ heads. It’s only 22.5” deep,making it a perfect truck-pack size. It’s tuned low, for use as a realsubwoofer, with long-excursion, low distortion 15” woofers, andthanks to the lower mass of the 15” cones it delivers the tight,punchy sound as well as the deep, rolling bass.

The SSP115 "Lil-ill" Profundo Series Subwoofer is a high-powered single 15-inch subwoofer, delivering greater depthand better sound quality than boxes twice its size, includingmany double-driver cabinets.

The SSP115 is a self-powered sub-bass loudspeaker consisting of asingle, long-excursion 15" low frequency driver in a vented enclosurewith a 3400W class D amplifier. It is optimized for deep bass responsein a small, lightweight and manageable size.

The SSP115 fits in a hatchback car, can easily be carried up and downstairs, takes up precious little floor space, and yet is also able to hit hardand deep and fill big spaces with big bass. Using one SSP115 ratherthan two inferior boxes makes dollars and sense because with it you candeliver superior service with less effort, set-up time, transport costs, andfloor space. One person can move these, which is a huge advantagewhen only one person is doing the set-up. There are other boxes thatare small enough for one person to move but most often the SSP115 willdo the work of 2 similar sized boxes. Sometimes more or bigger boxeswon’t even fit in the car, truck or even in the venue. The SSP115 is thesolution when space is at a premium and quality cannot be compromised.

The SSP115 includes a 3400W class D amplifier, the most output andpower available in such a small box. They’re not just tremendouslypowerful, they are reliable, self- protected systems including built-in pre-set DSP with all the system components power-matched and protectedfrom damage. The result is a powerful, loud, compact, reliable andconsistent system that is super easy and quick to set-up and take down.

The cabinet is finished in black textured weatherproof polyurethanecoating and the woofer’s cone is made from a waterproof fiber matrix.

The top-mounted pole socket in the subwoofer provides for one of theAttuned Tops or YesMon Monitors to be mounted on a straight speakerpole above the subwoofer.

In modern music the demand for bass is practically insatiable. It is rare to finda concert or club venue that doesn’t run their bass cabinets at very highlevels. The B-Zero Motiv Bass Horn reliably and consistently provideextremely high levels of clean, usable, undistorted musical bass output.

BASSBOSS Subwoofers are known for their output as well as their outstandingmusical sound quality. The B-Zeros don’t tend to interfere with the perceived clarityof the overall system because they have extremely low levels of distortion. While thisis measurable even at low levels, at higher levels, when other boxes begin to stress,the difference can become very noticeable.

The B-Zero is a single 18" bass cabinet featuring a folded tractrix horn enclosure thatprovides high-impact, high- efficiency bass response from 35Hz to 200Hz withsuperior clarity and definition. The B-Zero is a very efficient and hard-hitting horn-loaded bass cabinet. It uses a relatively low compression ratio to minimize horncoloration. The result is a natural, open sound characterized by a heavy hit. The B-Zero is very effective for reproduction of extremely dynamic musical material.

The B-Zero is intended for use in multiples. Like all horns, they benefit from beingcoupled together so the best results will be achieved when at least two or morecabinets are coupled together.

In contrast to direct radiating systems, the dynamic detail, the impact or “punch” isbetter resolved with a horn. The ability to resolve this aspect of the sound is due toseveral factors. Compared to a direct radiating system, when horn loaded a drivercan produce an equal sound level with a shorter excursion. Shorter excursions tendto require less power and less acceleration and also produce less distortion from themotor and suspension systems.

A loudspeaker designed to deliver the necessary sound pressure level using minimalexcursion will therefore produce greater resolution of detail and lower levels ofdistortion. In addition to these benefits, the directivity afforded by the horn focuses theenergy and impact toward the audience more effectively than a direct radiatingsystem. While these attributes are generally true of all horns, the B-Zero takes fulladvantage of these benefits without suffering from the maladies that plague manyother horns. The B-Zero maintains a remarkably smooth response and exhibits verylittle of what might be called “horn-honk”. In short, the B-Zero is a remarkable

loudspeaker, which has been in production for 10 years and still remains a favoritewith both old customers and new, consistently eliciting praise for its sound quality andoutput capacity every time it's played. It certainly is a contender as one of the loudestand most efficient bass horns on the market and is virtually without peer when itcomes to subjective sound quality.

To make a horn loaded cabinet that is able to reproduce truly low bassit has to be quite large. However, where horn loaded cabinets tend to be bigger thantheir direct radiating counterparts, the trade-off is that you generally require fewerhorn loaded cabinets and considerably less amplification to reach your equivalentsound pressure level goals. The relatively compact radiating area afforded by the useof high efficiency horns can also provide for wider and more consistent coverage thana larger number of direct radiator cabinets, particularly in the upper bass region wherethe wavelengths can be shorter than the array dimensions. A smaller radiating areawill tend to produce a more coherent wave, and affords the widest and furthestcoverage possible. For this reason, horn-loaded systems can be ideal for use withlong-throw systems like line arrays.

The AT312 Attuned Top is a co-axial source array cabinet formedium to short distance coverage where high output, a smallfootprint and very high fidelity are required. When combined with subwoofers like the SSP218 Profundo “Dub-ill” Subwoofer,the result is an extremely high-resolution 4-way active loudspeaker system withvirtually unparalleled frequency response and dynamic power for its size. The AT212 Attuned Top is a 2-way loudspeaker for short tomedium distance coverage. It’s a simple to use, easy to setup, attractive, compact array cabinet capable of high outputalong with a smooth sound and natural musical character.

The cabinet features dual direct-radiating 12” high-efficiency neodymiummagnet woofers and a customized 1.4” exit compression driver loaded ona 30 by 80 degree Tractrix-flare horn. With the cabinet standing vertically,the horn has a horizontal coverage of 30 degrees. The cabinet is built asa trapezoid with 15-degree side-angles, making a tight-packed array ofadjacent cabinets possible with minimal off-axis interference. The 30-degree coverage per box allows arrays to be configured in 30-degreeincrements for anywhere from 30 to 360 degrees of horizontal coverage.

Dual 12” low frequency drivers were chosen to minimize the cabinetfrontal area while delivering the best possible speed and impact in themid-bass and midrange frequencies. Thanks to the narrow frontal area,the LF drivers couple coherently when multiple cabinets are arrayed,providing powerful mid-bass impact from a small box. The 4-foot tall boxelevates the high frequency radiators to a minimum of 7’5” on centerwhen stacked on the corresponding subwoofer systems.

The 30 by 80 degree coverage pattern makes the cabinet particularlyversatile and practical because it can be flown horizontally with coverageof 80 degrees horizontal by 30 degrees vertical, ideal for low-profileplacement on a ceiling, above a dance floor or as a near-field fill.

The CCM112 YesMon Monitor is a very compact bi-amplified, self-powered multi-angle wedge/utility monitor that can also be mounted ona pole stand to be used as an extremely size-conscious but powerfulmain speaker or DJ monitor. It features a 12" woofer with a 3" voice coiland a 1.4" exit compression driver also with a 3" voice coil.

The high-frequency horn is concentric with the woofer, making it a true point-sourcecabinet. Both the woofer and tweeter coils share the same magnetic structure to keepsize and weight to a minimum. The woofer section is rated for 700 watts of powerhandling and is powered by a perfectly matched 750 watt amplifier channel whichallows for maximum output combined with maximum reliability. The tweeter sectionis powered by a separate amplifier channel that is capable of another 750 watts. 750watts is excessive power for a tweeter so the HF section is power limited to match thecapabilities of the tweeter diaphragm. This has the advantage of providing more thanenough dynamic power headroom to prevent clipping of the tweeter channel as wellas leaving the bulk of the 1500W power supply available for the greater demands ofthe woofer section.

The true point-source nature of the co-axial design results in very consistent soundacross the coverage pattern of the speaker. Any speaker that has the tweeterhorizontally or vertically adjacent to the mid-frequency driver inevitably produces avery different response as one moves through its coverage area from the tweeter sideto the woofer side. This is due to the different distances the sound has to travel toreach either the ears or a microphone. This inconsistency in frequency response willnot only mean that the sound heard by the audience or performer will be differentdepending on where he or she is standing, it can also cause problems withmicrophone feedback and compromise the clarity of the monitor sound on stage.These common issues have been designed out of the YesMon.

Because the YesMon is a true point-source loudspeaker, the sound heard to the left,right, above and below the speaker is very consistent. For the audience this meansbetter quality sound across the entire listening area. For the performer this meansless peaky response and less problems with feedback relative to where themicrophone is moved. The main benefit of this is that the monitor can have asmoother, more intelligible response on stage. This results in greater gain beforefeedback, the benefits of which are that the monitor can be more clearly heard and/orthat the monitor can be played more loudly with less chance of feedback problems.

Because the tweeter exits through the middle of the woofer, the extra area that thetweeter would ordinarily take up on the front of the loudspeaker is eliminated, makingit possible to make the YesMon extremely compact. It's barely bigger than a 12"woofer but it also has a 1.4" throat horn with a 3" voice coil compression driver, a1500W amplifier and an integrated digital signal processor. It is a fully self-containedproduct that needs no more than power and signal.

The CCM112 has a 2-channel, 1500-watt class D amplifier with a built in digital signalprocessor which provides crossover functions for bi-amplified operation as well as afull complement of protections, limiters and equalizers that ensure consistent,accurate and reliable operation.

Even though the YesMon is very small and very lightweight, there is nothing small orlightweight about its performance. This box is literally packed with the bestcomponents and technology money can buy, the whole point of which is to do morewith less. This little box will amaze you with what it can do for output and with how wellit does it, even at the extremes.

The CCM112 has 3 angled sides on which it can be placed. One is for use as a floormonitor for a standing performer. The second is for use as a floor monitor for aseated performer. The third is a shallower angle that's intended for use when theCCM is placed on a table or other surface that's off the floor. This is useful if theYesMon is to be used as a drum monitor on top of a drum sub or if you just want toput the monitor on a road case and still have it at a useful angle. It can also be placedso it plays horizontally so it can be used as a front fill. Finally it includes a polesocket mount so it can be mounted to a speaker stand or on a pole above asocket-equipped subwoofer.

The DiaMon DJ112 is a very compact, high-output, self-powered loudspeaker.It features a 12″ woofer and a co-axial 1.4″ exit compression driver that plays throughthe center of the woofer, making it a true point-source cabinet. Both the wooferand tweeter coils share the same magnetic structure to keep size and weight toa minimum.

Because the tweeter exits through the middle of the woofer, the extra area that thetweeter would ordinarily take up on the front of the loudspeaker is eliminated, whichhelps make the DiaMon extremely compact. It’s barely bigger than a 12” woofer butalso incorporates a 1.4” exit compression driver with a 3” voice coil. The DiaMonDJ112 includes a 1500-watt class D Powersoft amplifier with built-in digital signalprocessing, is bi-amped and has a full complement of protections, limiters andequalizers that ensure consistent, accurate and reliable operation. It is fully self-contained and needs no more than power and signal to be ready to go.

Even though the box is very small and very lightweight, there is nothing small orlightweight about its performance. This box is literally packed with the bestcomponents and technology money can buy, the whole point of which is to do morewith less. The output of this little speaker is totally out of proportion to its size. It’sextremely loud, but it’s capable of being loud, not struggling to be loud. It soundsmuch bigger than it looks and has the ability to maintain crystal clarity even at theupper limits of its very remarkable capabilities.

The DiaMon DJ112 is a mid-high loudspeaker, so in order to deliver the BASSBOSSexperience with full system sound it’s best to combine it with a very powerfulBASSBOSS subwoofer. It has the output to keep up with several subs and for systemusage is intended to be mounted on a pole-stand above one or more of theBASSBOSS Profundo Series subwoofers. Used with a subwoofer system, the DiaMonis an extraordinarily size-conscious and yet very powerful main speaker.

The DiaMon DJ112 has a unique angle-cut corner that allows it to be placed on atable and used as a DJ monitor without pole-mounting, freeing up valuable DJ deskreal estate. It also has a securely attaching threaded pole-mounting system for whenit is used attached to a socket-equipped BASSBOSS subwoofer or on a similarlyequipped tripod stand. An adjustable wall-mount bracket is also available forpermanent installations.

As a main speaker, the DJ112 can be used with two double 18” subwoofers and easilydeliver all the mid-high you need to keep up with them. As a DJ monitor it providestight, punchy performance and doesn’t distort at high levels. As a live reinforcementspeaker, this versatile box provides consistent sound quality over a wide dispersionpattern with excellent resistance to feedback.
