    About the course : Flow assurance is a relatively new term in oil and gas industry and the most critical subject during production in subsea/deepwater because of the low temperature and high pressure. The risk associated with the production interruption or asset damage due to flow assurance problem can cause catastrophic blockage formation in subsea pipelines and failure. This course will provide the attendee with a general understanding or appreciation of flow assurance engineering and its role in project development.

    Course information : Key learning areas : UNDERSTAND fluid flow principles for liquid, gas and multi-phase flow UNDERSTAND the flow assurance engineering in project development. LEARN Basic Flow Assurance and issues and their mitigation techniques. PERFORM in hands on workshop and demo sessions to appreciate flow assurance importance in field design infrastructure and operations. OPTIMISE the benefits and risks associated with innovative technology application to offshore field development. EXAMINE the field design process in consideration to flow assurance through integrating the reservoir to the host facility.
