Basic Circuit Challenge Ccc Design Brief Objectives Startup and use the TSE Software at PLSHS. Complete all 15 Basic Circuit Challenge activities before the end of the semester Problem  You and another student will be working on some software made available from Central Community College in Columbus, NE. This software is run over the internet off thei r servers. Because of this ther e may be extended wait times due to lag (slow inte rnet traffic) . Please be patient when wor king with this software. Criteria  You must be accountable for this information individually.  You must makeup all missed lessons if you are gone In rare situations this can be done outside of class and will be prearranged with the instructor All certificates must be shown to the instructor for credit Cheating will result in a zero for that lesson People off task or breaking computer rules will lose daily work points Use your notebook to k eep track of important information. All quizzes ar e open written note. Supplies Computer station in the Tech Lab at PLSHS Evaluation Students must score an 80% or better on each lesson. At the end of the lesson a certif icate is displayed . If the students work in pairs each student must show equal involvement. If there is reason for concern than an individual maybe required to prove their knowledge by completing that lesson individually . An X or check mark signifies successful completion of a lesso n. All lessons must be completed by the end of the semester for a 100%. 25 points total. The first two lessons are required but

If you finish all lessons before the end of the semester you will get full credit. You must continue with either the Basic DC or AC circuit challenge lessons inorder to earn your daily work points. Unapproved off task work will result in aloss of points.

Steps to setup your computer1. Login to Windows using your user ID# and password.

2. Go to TSE Software: http://mectse.cccneb.edu/LaunchPad/ a. Microsoft Phishing Filter: Select Turn on automatic Phishing

Filter and click OK .3. Information Bar dialog box: Read the dialog box! Select the Don’t 

show this message again check box and click Close4. Information Bar: Click the Information Bar and select Run ActiveX 

Control.Internet Explorer – Security Warning: Read and verify the Name:

7. Close your browser.8. You should now have TSE icons on your desktop and in the start menu.

If this process did not work please restart your computer and start atstep 1 and try again If it fails a second time let the instructor know
