Connect easilySuitable for any kind of connectivityIt doesn’t matter whether or not you use a gateway (for example, a smartphone) to connect your device, Barracks is able to pair with your devices in both situations.

When do you need a gateway device?If the object is able to support encryption (TLS) and HTTP, Barracks communicates directly with the object through the SDK. If not, or if you don’t have a direct access to the internet, a gateway device (a smartphone for example) enables the connection between Barracks and your products.

Of course, in specific cases we can use a lot of other security protocols.

Platform agnostic softwareYou can integrate Barracks with your connected devices no matter which platform you use for your gateway device (Android, iOS, Mac OS, Linux, Docker) and for your device itself (NodeJS, Python, Docker, Linux, C). Don’t worry if you can’t see yours yet: we actively work on other platforms’ SDK! If you use a specific platform, we can also adapt the SDK you need to implement Barracks on your process.

On-premises softwareYou can also have Barracks implemented on your own architecture. All you need to do is tell us what you need!

The SDK takes care of your useful data by collecting them in Barracks. You can choose which data you want Barracks to use. You can also take it out from Barracks and put it in your own analytics process!

We are doing our best to build a neat and intuitive interface but you can also use Barracks with your own interface.

SmartHalo’s connected device pairs with smartphones to make bikes smarter. The device is a GPS, a bike locator, and a cycling tracker for either private or public bikes.
