The list goes on and on!
We are very blessed at Barnier Public School, we have

caring. We have many generous and caring parents who
contribute their time and positive energy to our school.
Class Visits
Many thanks to all stage 2 classes! I loved my time in your
classrooms teaching you. Next term, I am really looking forward
to visiting all stage 3 classes. I am extremely grateful to Mrs
Housbey and Ms Moon. Thanks to their outstanding leadership,
organisational and management skills, I have been able to leave
the office and spend time in classrooms teaching students, which
is something I am very passionate about doing. I could not have
done this without their support and assistance. They are
superstars!
Head Lice
Unfortunately we have had some very unwelcome visitors in our
school! Dreaded head lice have been a bit of a problem recently.
I ask all parents to regularly check your children’s hair and treat
quickly and thoroughly. The following link will provide excellent
information on this very frustrating and distressing problem.
https://education.nsw.gov.au/student-wellbeing/health-and-physical-care/health-care-procedures/conditions/head-lice I thank all parents and carers for their support and cooperation.

Fairy Tale Day
On Wednesday 4th of July, Stage 1 students celebrated an end to
their fairy tales writing unit with Fairy Tales Day. Students and
teachers came dressed as their favourite fairy tale characters. It was
wonderful to see everyone participate in the day and to see a great
variety of costumes.
The day began with the whole stage watching a fairy tale movie. It
was very exciting to be in the hall watching a movie. It was like being
in a cinema at school!
This was followed by every class visiting different stage 1 classrooms
to read other students fairy tale narratives. Classes were able to
select their favourite pieces of writing from each class and to hand-out
awards.
Our day ended with a wonderful fairy tale assembly presented by 2S.
Thank you 2S for entertaining the stage with your wonderful singing
and dancing performances.
A big thank you to all the students on their wonderful effort throughout
the term. The teachers of stage 1 are very happy. Have a wonderful
holiday break.
