BARABRINE® DEFOAM

Product Description

BARABRINE® DEFOAM defoamer can be used to prevent or eliminate existing foam in water-based drilling

fluids and brines. BARABRINE DEFOAM defoamer can be used effectively in most water-based fluids and all brine types.

Recommended Treatment

Add 0.05 - 0.25 lb/bbl (0.14 - 0.71 kg/m³), 0.007 - 0.033 gal/bbl (0.17-0.79 l/m³) of BARABRINE DEFOAM defoamer directly to the circulating system. BARABRINE DEFOAM can be added before lubricants which may have a foaming tendency.

Packaging

BARABRINE DEFOAM defoamer is packaged in 5-gal (18.9-l) cans and 55-gal (208-l) drums.
