In the present work an attemp has been made to provide informaions, whereer possible about te locations o esophageal glansand their orices in the species of Mononchida present in the National

Collection of Zoological urvey o India and Departmt of Zoolog,Aligarh Muslim niversi' Algar U P.. A total of 2 speciesbelongng to 11 genera and 6 miies of to subrdrs ononchinaan athyodontina) have been stdied Since the order Mononchidaincludes only about 30 genera the present stud gives a good accountof nrmations on the distribtio of oesophaeal gand ncei ndtheir orices
