T.I.M.E.s Classroom Coaching for Bank PO Common Written Examination (CWE):

T.I.M.E. offers a comprehensive classroom training programme to prepare students for Bank Common Written Examination (CWE).The course has four modules.4Module I :

    Module II:4

    Module III:4

    Module IV:4

Basic Study Material with solved examples and practice exercises. The material covers all the test areas, i.e., Quantitative Aptitude (including DI and Data Sufficiency), Reasoning Ability, English Language, Computer Knowledge, General Awareness and Descriptive Writing.

Chapter-wise tests to help you prepare for each individual test area. These tests will help you revise your concepts and increase your speed.

A large number of Mocks on the pattern of Bank PO CWE will be conducted. These will give you an overall idea of the level you are required to achieve and ample practice to help you achieve it. These Mocks will replicate the actual exam in every conceivable way.

Rigorous training for the interview / GD, on getting calls from banks.

    Exam pattern:

Descriptive Paper on English Composition: (Essay, Precis, Letter Writing, etc.)

    Negative Marking:

    Score-card:

What you need to succeed :

    S.No. Test Area Questions Marks1 Reasoning 50 502 English Language 50 253 Quantitative Aptitude 50 504 General Awareness 50 50

(with special reference to Banking Industry)

    5 Computer Knowledge 50 50Total 250 225

In addition to the objective paper, there will be a Descriptive Paper on English Composition for 60 minutes and 25 marks. The above tests except the Test of English Language and Descriptive Paper on English Composition will be printed bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi. The Descriptive Papers of only those candidates who secure minimum qualifying marks in each of the objective tests will be evaluated.

There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Test. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at correct score.

Candidates who are successful in the CWE will be issued score-cards. The score will be valid for a period of one year from the date of examination. The successsful candidates can apply to any of the participating banks as and when the banks announce the vacancies. Each bank will have its own eligibility criteria in terms of age , qualification, minimum score required in the CWE and so on. These banks will then carry out their own selection process like Group Discussion and / or Interview for the final selection.

Since the marks scored in the descriptive section are not added to the final score, the students who have the highest chance of success are those who can master the objective type questions. Typically, the candidates will have less than a minute for each question. Wrong answers carry negative marks in the objective tests. The main requirements for candidates are to develop confidence through high-quality preparation, constant practice in various test areas and to develop the ability to give accurate answers under the pressure of time.
