Cyber attacks are an increasingly pressing threat as well. It comes second as the toughest challenge businesses deal with, as indicated by three in 10 respondents. Cyber security tops the list of skill areas employers deem the most needed in Bangalore’s workforce. Respondents are extremely positive about the local support for their digital transformation initiatives. Innovation labs are cited as particularly helpful in this respect (36%), as are business associations and their events (24%), hackathons (20%) and incubators and accelerators (20%). According to a recent study, Bangalore accounts for a large number of the more than 140 incubators and accelerators in India 1 .
