BANDERA HISTORY

1947 Costruzioni Meccaniche Luigi Bandera started the operations. 1950 the company turned into a joint stock company. Within 1960 and 1970, the activities expanded to an industrial scale.

Through 1980 and 1990s the company became an acknowledged leader among the extrusion equipment manufacturers. Bandera, currently managed by Piero and Franco, the founder’s sons, has recently focussed its product range on:

• Blown film (packaging/converting/agrifilm)

• Rigid film with flat die technology and thick sheets


INNOVATION IN EXTRUSION

Bandera engineering delivers both short-term innovation initiatives as well as medium and long term projects. A close contact with the market provides R&D with several market-pull innovation proposals. BANDERA BLOWN FILM EXTRUSION GENERAL OVERVIEW

Techno Flex plus blown film machines mainly, used in the flexible packaging industry, converting and lamination industry for the production of multi layer film. HDB Flex equipment mainly used for the production of industrial bags. HYBRID Flex machines particularly suggested for industrial application. Smart Flex plus blown film plants for the production of retail bags and bags of

different shapes and sizes, as well as shrink film.

This machine series is characterized by a competitive investment level, high productivity, enlarged thickness range, maximized flexibility and efficiency and reduced power consumption. Bandera is worldwide leader in the production of complete multilayer blown film big plants dedicated to agricultural film and waterpoof geomembrane.

3 production sites (covering a total area of 55,000 m2):

Extensive use of CNC machine tools for the manufacture of screws and cylinders for extruders; extrusion heads for large-sized blown film may also be produced

All mechanical parts are designed and manufactured completely in-house. Furthermore much of our ancillary equipment is designed by us
