Concept of Dharma

Dharma is derived from the Sanskrit word Dhri, meaning ‘To hold together’.

Dharma is the way of life. It has universal application. It is the manifestation of human dignity.

The term Sarv Dharma Sambhav was coined by Mahatma Gandhi. It means equality for all religion.

According to Manu Smriti - There are two types of Dharma Nitya Dharma or Samanya Dharma Anitya or Apad Dharma

Vivekananda’s view on Dharma Religion is realization. To do good and to be good is the whole of all religion.
