COMMANDER’S INTENTMISSION: 7th Engineer Dive Team will conduct an underwater
search for the missing Bambi Bucket at Tanada Reservoir, 210800MAR2016-011700APR2016. 7th engineer dive detachment will utilize Side Scan Sonar to identify points of interest. All points of interest will be marked with buoys. Divers will then employ underwater searching techniques (i.e. circle search, pendulum, and jack-stay) to find and recover the Bambi Bucket.
KEY TASKS:
• Load out for mission (14-18 March 2016).• Movements to Tanada Reservoir ( 21 April 2016).• Conduct Bambi Bucket search and recovery, Dive Supervisor
check-offs, Salvage Diver Check-offs (21 March-01 April 2016).
• Recovery and AAR (01-05 April 2016).• Conduct recovery, AAR, and back brief per SOP. END STATE:
• Bambi Bucket recovered.• All Soldiers receive adequate training and check offs.• No Major losses of equipment due to negligence or
preventable casualties/injuries.• All equipment will be annotated and AAR will be conducted.

This phase begins 140800March2016 with all equipment being PMCS, inventoried IAW hand receipts, and loaded onto the LMTV for transportation to Tanada Reservoir under the supervision of the Loadout NCO PFC Sparks. This Phase will end when all equipment is loaded and ready for transport, and the vehicle dispatch is completed NLT 181500MAR2016.

This phase begins 210600March2016 with the LMTV properly PMCS by operators SPC Howell and SGT Hunnicutt, and driven to the Tanada Reservoir. The rest of the team will car pool to the Dole Plantation parking lot. Once at the parking lot, 7th Dive personnel will need to mount vehicles that are capable of driving the dirt road from the parking lot to the reservoir. This phase is will be continuous throughout the duration of the mission.
Phase II: Movements (21 March 2016)

Phase III: Execution (21 March-01 April 2016)
This phase begins 210730MAR2016 with the download and setup of equipment at the work site. NCOIC will direct personnel to set up zodiacs, Side Scan Sonar, and SCUBA at the Tanada Reservoir. Divers will mark off each individual grid area (Grid 1-5), and will conduct proper Side Scan Sonar procedures and mark all points of interest with marker buoys. Once points of interest have been identified, Divers will conduct underwater searching techniques (i.e. circle search, pendulum, and jack-stay) in SCUBA until all points of interest have been investigated or until the Bambi Bucket has been located. This process will repeat for all grid areas. At the end of every working day, all equipment will be properly PMCS and secured. This phase will end once the Bambi Bucket has been recovered, all resources have been exhausted, or the allotted time has expired NLT 011700APR2016.

This phase begins on 01APR2016. Mission personnel will load all gear back into LMTV. SPC Howell and SGT Hunnicutt will then drive LMTV back to 7th Dive Detachment at Hickam AFB. Mission personnel will then drive back to Hickam AFB via POV. Gear will be properly PMCS, returned to handreceipt holders, and secured at 7th EN Dive Detachment NLT 051500APR2016.
