HISTORY OF THE BALLROOM "An excellent example of a 1950s interior demonstrating characteristics of a modernist design. There are no other known examples of this style of interior intact." The Department of Environment and Heritage.
The State Heritage listed Burnside Ballroom opened in 1954 and offers a unique and charming atmosphere, with ground floor and mezzanine entertainment areas, many original fittings and decades of beautiful memories.
OUR CONCERTS The City of Burnside is proud to present and partner with amazing performers and organisa-
tions to create the 2019 Ballroom Series. This series will engage and entice, entertain and delight. Experience a musical journey that will include Latin, baroque, symphony, brass and everything in between.
