The divergent series is a big hit. First it
started with the Divergent book and
Veronika Roth, the author of Divergent,
continues on with Insurgent, the
second book, Allegiant the third, and
the book Four, the fourth book. These
all came with awesome movies. Rick
Yancey is the author of 5th Wave. The
5th Wave follows 16-year-old Cassie
Sullivan as she tries to survive in a
world devastated by the waves of alien
invasions that have already devastated
the Earth's population and knocked
humankind back to the Stone Age.
Cassie is headed to a "training" camp
established by the ‘Others’, the aliens,
to save her 5 year-old brother, Sam,
who was taken away at her family's
refugee camp.

Beyoncé was cited on May 5, 2016 and was caught
attempting to thwart (to prevent someone from
accomplishing something) speculation about her marriage
with Jay Z. Even though she shouted out to her hubby Jay
Z during the first night of her Formation World Tour on
Wednesday, it didn't stop the alarms from sounding when
people noticed the power couple had removed their
wedding rings. Photographed backstage during the show,
Beyoncé was notably missing her $5 million diamond rock.
Some might say she was taking extra precautions while
performing. However, the timing is a little too coincidental
in relation to all the speculation surrounding the topic of
infidelity on Lemonade an album Beyoncé had released
on April 23, 2016 that’s talks about her relationship with
Jay Z. After the release of Beyoncé Lemonade album over
the weekend, cheating started flying. Especially after fans
heard the cryptic Lyrics on the visual album. But it looks
like the couple of Jay Z and Beyoncé are still going strong
because they were just spotted together in Miami. Photos
show the couple sitting on the back of a golf cart together
at Marlins Park, where Beyoncé is currently rehearsing for
The Formation World Tour. After all this drama, Beyoncé
and Jay Z had decided to remove their wedding rings but
they will still be the close friends.
Now that we got in the latest Beyoncé news lets switch it
up to sports. Dee Gordon, the reigning National League
Batting Champion and an All-Star second baseman for
the Miami Marlins, was suspended for 80 games because
he tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs. Major
League Baseball announced the suspension after the
Marlins’ victory in Los Angeles, saying that Gordon had
tested positive for exogenous testosterone and clostebol.
Eight days before the MLB announced his suspension
there was a same case for a player coming off the best
season of his career. On April 22, Chris Colabello, an
undrafted former independent leaguer who hit .321 for the
Toronto Blue Jays last season, was also suspended for 80
games. Last season, though, Gordon hit .333 — 61 points
above his career average as a Dodger — and also led the
league in stolen bases and hits while winning a Gold
Glove. The Marlins rewarded him with a five-year, $50
million contract in January, although he was to make just
$3 million this season. He will not be paid during the
suspension. Gordon, who dropped his appeal after
Thursday’s April 28 game — in which he drove in the
tying run as the Marlins completed a four-game sweep of
the Dodgers — issued a statement through the Players’
Association Friday morning. He denied using banned
drugs on purpose.
