Balazaring Council

Âruk Ar-Gamranâth is a mature man in his late thirties, with wind-worn skin and dark eyes used to gazing into the distance. He is a devotee of Lokarnos, god of trade from Yelm’s pantheon. (Please substitute Issaries if more appropriate/convenient.) (Please assign his rank in the cult as appropriate.) A native of Balazar, he has been quite successful as a trader, learning from his father and eventually taking control of the business after his father retired. He is well-known and liked; his outgoing personality and charm have contributed in large part to his success (although his wisdom has been just as important). He has many followers and hirelings.

Âruk is used to leading men into the wilds, and so is well-prepared to deal with those who would part him from his wealth. He is well-versed in the use of spear and shield, and magic is his friend. The site of his broad-shouldered figure, swathed in a multi-colored robe and silhouetted against the sky, has caused more than one bandit leader to reconsider the wisdom of attacking.

Âruk is married to Ziral-Tâmar, a devotee of Hearth Mother. They have three children, two daughters and a son. The home of Âruk Ar-Gamranâth is well-known for its hospitality.
