Balakalakaar is an Initiative by AIESEC in Delhi IIT to impact upon the lives of those
Children who don’t have a Reason to Smile. This event is aligned to the cause of
Building an environment that helps improve the Quality of life that is faced by
Underpriviledged Children in our City. It’s the creation of an opportunity to help
them discover and develop their potential in art forms.
Living up to the Expectations and taking the Legacy Forward , it was
decided to Increase the number of Children to 3500. On the Final day ,
the event had impacted the lives of over 4000 People in just a Day!

National Institute of Fine Arts - amongst the Best Institute in the field of
arts is providing 5 Best Entries in the Art Competition training free of
cost.
Details have been sent to the Volunteers mentioning the names of our
Partnering NGO’s so they can volunteer with these NGO’s and still
continue to create an Impact .
Through this We are making sure that the children will rely on their
own talent to make their life a better one which will help them in
future.
AIESEC in Delhi IIT Launched the Volunteer Program with the intention
of encouraging volunteerism amongst the youth of the City. As the
world’s largest Youth Run Organization , we felt responsible to spread
the joy and spirit of positive Contribution to Society, amongst youth
from different colleges, and ecourage them to take up many such
Initiatives on their own. The 2013 Edition of Balakalaar was Pulled out
with the Contribution of 250 Young Individuals.
The Organizing Committee announced the Online Photography
Competition supported by Earth Saviours Foundation where the
Winners of the Contest were called upon to the Final Day of the event
and had a chance to cover the Final day of the event and a chance to
win prizes worth Rs. 10,000. Throughout the Report you will See some
Amazing Photos which were Captured by the Photographers who were
present for the event.Our Radio Partners Hit 95 FM gave us Slots where
our Event Coverage was Done. Post the Event , Divyam Upneja (
Manager – Corporate Relations ) shared his Experience with HIT 95 FM.
Alongside, Several Posts Related to Balakalakaar were made on Various
Leading National Daily Newspapers.

There come those certain events that can change an individual’s life
inside out. 14th December was one such day. Balakalakaar, hosted by
AIESEC in Delhi IIT. A day when 3800 underprivileged children got a
chance to bring out their inner artist. Balakalakaar was delivered
flawlessly with the help of those numerous NGOs that partnered with
us in this noble cause and the enthusiastic 250 volunteers who
worked their heart out to make this event a success.
Further we express our sincere thanks to Delhi School of
Business,Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies for not only
providing us with the venue but also the constant encouragement and
enormous cooperation for this event.
We would also like to thank Wapcos ,Bisleri , National Institute of Fine
Arts, Hero Cycles,Slopho and Delhi College of Photography for their
continuous support.
We cannot thank everyone enough for their involvement and the
willingness to take the success of this event beyond their comfort. It
was a great pleasure to deliver this event with you all.
