Baile

1
Baile by Gabrielle Rose He asks the poet to promise a goddess and then he turns and looks at her. She is past her prime but He primes his past. His eyes shimmer a twinkle; she knows her sway still sparkles while her hands paint delights and her lips shape pleasure. He taps his foot to the cadence of a wrestled rhythm pulsed by memory. Her eyes close -- long last lashes shutter the window of a moment.
