Cross-Review
| 18
Once all review reports on a manuscript are submitted, handling editor can choose to invite reviewers for a discussion. This approach has proven to be very efficient mostly in the case of conflicting review reports.
What is Cross-Review?
Editor invites reviewers to a forum where all review reports are anonymized.
Editor moderates the discussion and reviewers can comment on each others report.
Editor informs author about the summary of the discussion and the final decision.
Reviewers get notification about the final decision.
Thank you!
