Relocation Survey and Profiling of Communal Septic Tanks: US$ 25,000 Siting for a septage treatment plant location within the city is being proposed.

Americans (before 1986): concrete and steel pipes Tobishima (1993-1994): PVC, Hydropipeand Fiberglass main pipes City (1986 onwards): concrete and PVC pipes and interconnections

Pipe sizes of main sewer pipes: 6 inches (150mm) to 24 inches (600 mm)

Rehabilitation of sewer lines: US$ 875,000 for 2014 & 2015

Further laboratory testing of sludge will be undertaken to ensure safe vegetable production.

KEY LESSONS LEARNED Hands‐on City to City exchanges is an effective strategy for

learning and re‐learning urban development.

The key to effective and responsive project developmentdepends on timely and adequate information base.

Local government officials must have keen interest invarious development approaches to enhance and enrichurban development.

National and local government agencies must coordinatemore to facilitate planning, project development andexecution.
